2 Quick Design Tips For Facebook and Instagram Ads

We love to offer quick design tips for Facebook and Instagram Ads. We know that it is important for your ads to be effective. No one wants to spend money and create ads that are a bust. Fortunately, we can help. Green Pajamas has studied and used best practices for optimal results and we would like to share a few of them with you.

1. Keep It Personal

Remember, when advertising on both of these platforms, you are competing with everyone else’s picture of a cute dog or child. So your ad needs to stand out and the best way to do that is to keep it personal. Choose your images wisely. Find a photo of someone using your product or showing your brand in a great light…both literally and figuratively. Bright colorful photos will help you stand out and draw people in to take a look. Your best way to get that initial click is to keep it personal!

2. Keep It Simple

When designing your ad, simple is better. It is always good to get someone to look over your ad before you post it. Some questions you should ask yourself:

  • “If I am scrolling past this ad, would I easily understand it?”
  • “Is it obvious what I want my audience to do?”
  • “What is the goal of this ad?”

Once you answer these questions, make you sure your ad is as simple as possible. Avoid unnecessary text where possible, especially on your images. Facebook especially has a tendency to not show ads with a lot of text on the image. Keep it simple!

We would love to help you create ads for Facebook and Instagram.

We know your time is precious and you need to focus on the big picture. That is why Green Pajamas is here! Put on your pajamas and let us make your web experience as comfortable as it should be.
